August Fun in the Sun- 21/8/21

The forecast for the August meet was not looking great in the morning, even the Manager of the venue contacted me worried about turnout if the promised rain came. I assured him it wouldn't dare rain on us :-). He needn't have been concerned, as usual the sun shone *and everyone who made the effort to attend, Hot Rod and Classic car owners alike had a good time. The Duchy Boys joined us once again, but the attraction I believe is the run out afterwards through St Ives. Not to disappoint this month, the streets were packed and came to a standstill as we all rumbled across the sea front. Each time there is a different audience so it may not be a novelty for us, but it certainly is for the visitors. Our next meet at the Bird in Hand is planned for September 18th, after this the evenings will start drawing in and we may have to revise any future timings to suit. Our thanks also goes to John Lockie who turns up to every meet and takes some fantastic pictures. If you are coming next month, book a table early, grab some food, make an evening of it, its well worth it.
